Paint Preparation/Decontamination for Paint Correction
All paint correction packages include a clay bar decontamination. and a 25 stage decontamination wash.
Why clay bar decontamination is important:
Removes bonded contaminants (e.g. tar, tree sap, brake dust) that washing can’t
Creates a smooth, clean surface for effective polishing
Prevents dragging contaminants across paint during correction
Enhances final finish and shine
Helps coatings or waxes bond properly for longer-lasting protection
